(Photo from ) See NotesĪ master DJ responsible for getting the ultimate party started (and keeping it going until the break of dawn) world-wide. We’re no psychics, but we hope to see DJ Calvin Harris in your future. On August 5th, Harris will pump up the volume at Encore Beach Club, and on August 11th he will light up XS Nightclub at Wynn Hotel. And of course, Las Vegas pit stops are essential to his tour circuit.
After a full summer of performing around the world, his journey continues. That all being said, you would be nuts to miss seeing DJ Calvin Harris in action. I’ve heard it probably more times today than I did when I was mixing it. Harris told reporters that “We Found Love” was the most successful thing he had ever done, saying “You can’t escape it here (in America). Allow us to also remind you that Harris also produced a certain “We Found Love” by Rihanna, which became an international favorite. On July 15th of this summer, The Official UK Top 40 revealed that Harris’ remix of Florence + the Machine’s “Spectrum (Say My Name)” had reached the number one spot, while just a few weeks earlier “Call My Name” by Cheryl Cole (produced by Harris) had claimed the same place. In the past year, you’ve heard Harris a lot (whether you knew it or not).
At only 28, Harris is poised to have a long and lasting career, with enough chart toppers under his belt by now to play alongside the big dogs. With his passionate energy and irresistible beats, Harris is always taking his listeners higher.
As a producer and performer, Calvin Harris has mastered the fine art of completely overcoming an audience, controlling them with music as he instructs them to dance, dance, dance.
